According to Frank Cusumano, KSDK sports director, the St. Louis Cardinals are looking to not only upgrade the team this offseason but cover big ground in their Central division battle with the Chicago Cubs. Cusumano, live on the scene in Washington D.C. and having discussed the Cards plans with ten different baseball people, thinks a pair of deals and not one could be on the horizon.
