Former Cardinals Playing In MLB Playoffs 10-9-16: Marc Rzepczynski Strikes Out Two & Holds Two Inherited Runners On Base Over One & A Third Scoreless Innings; Carlos Beltran Walks & Knocks In One Run



Rich Hill (former Memphis-Los Angeles) started and pitched 4.1 innings.  He allowed six hits, four earned runs, one home run, two walks, hit one batter, and struck seven out for the losing decision (0-1).  1-for-2 with one strikeout.  (p-s:82-47)(g/f:1-2)

Marc Rzepczynski (former St. Louis-Washington) entered in the fifth and pitched 1.1 innings.  He allowed no hits or runs, three walks, and struck two out.  (p-s:34-17)(g/f:0-1)(ir-s:2-0)

Carlos Beltran (former St. Louis-Texas) started as designated hitter and batted third.  0-for-3 with one RBI and one walk.
