Former Cardinals Playing In MLB World Series 10-29-16: Jason Heyward Singles Twice; Coco Crisp Singles; John Lackey Strikes Out Five & Allows Three Runs Over Five Innings



Coco Crisp (former New Haven-Cleveland) entered late in the game as a pinch hitter and batted ninth.  1-for-1 with one double and one run.

Jason Heyward (former St. Louis-Chicago-N) started in right field and batted seventh.  2-for-4 at the plate.
John Lackey (former St. Louis-Chicago-N) started and pitched five innings.  He allowed four hits, three runs (two earned), one home run, one intentional walk, and struck five out for the losing decision (0-1).  0-for-1 with one strikeout.  (p-s:84-52)(g/f:9-1)
