Former Cardinals Playing In MLB 9-8-16: Colby Rasmus Hits A Two-Run Homer; Peter Bourjos Hits A Solo Home Run; Carlos Beltran Singles, Doubles, & Drives In One Run



Colby Rasmus (former St. Louis-Houston) started in centerfield and batted fifth.  1-for-3 with one home run, two RBIs, and one run.

Cleveland beat Houston 10-7

David Freese (former St. Louis-Pittsburgh) started at first base and batted sixth.  2-for-4 with two strikeouts and assisted in two double plays.

Pittsburgh beat Reds 4-1

Peter Bourjos (former St. Louis-Philadelphia) started in right field and batted eighth.  1-for-4 with one home run, one RBI, and one run.
Edubray Ramos (former VSL-Philadelphia) entered in the seventh and pitched one inning.  He allowed no hits or runs.  (p-s:9-7)(g/f:1-2)

Matt Belisle (former St. Louis-Washington) entered in the sixth and pitched two innings.  He allowed no hits or runs, one walk, and struck one out.  (p-s:32-20)(g/f:5-0)

Philadelphia beat Washington 4-1

Mark Reynolds (former St. Louis-Colorado) entered late in the game at first base and batted ninth.  1-for-2 and one fielding error.

Brett Wallace (former Memphis-San Diego) entered late in the game at first base and batted third.  0-for-1 at the plate.

San Diego beat Colorado 14-1

Carlos Beltran (former St. Louis-Texas) started in right field and batted third.  2-for-4 with one double, one RBI, one run, and one strikeout.

Seattle beat Texas 6-3
