Puebla beat Carmen 7-6 in 11 innings

Eliezer Alfonzo (former Peoria-Mexico) started as designated hitter and batted seventh.  1-for-4 with one run.

Monterrey beat Mexico 18-9

Eugenio Velez (former Memphis-Monclova) started in left field and batted leadoff.  1-for-3 with one walk and one strikeout.

Saltillo beat Monclova 2-1

Iker Franco (former Springfield-Quintana Roo) started at catcher and batted seventh.  1-for-4 with one two-out RBI and one strikeout.

Jose Martinez (former Springfield-Veracruz) started at second base and batted fifth.  2-for-4 with one stolen base and assisted in one double play.

Veracruz beat Quintana Roo 4-3

Niko Vasquez (former St. Louis-Laguna) started at shortstop and batted sixth.  3-for-6 with one double, one home run, five RBIs (one w/two-outs), two runs, and assisted in two double plays.

Richy Pedroza (former Peoria-Aguascalientes) started at shortstop and batted 1-for-4 with one walk and one strikeout.

Laguna beat Aguascalientes 14-2

Pedro Rodriguez (former MiLB signing-Yucatan) entered in the ninth and pitched one inning.  He allowed two hits and one earned run for the save (11).  (p-s:14-8)(g/f:1-2)

Yucatan beat Tabasco 4-2

Gerald Laird (former St. Louis-Tijuana) entered late in the game at catcher.

Tijuana beat Reynosa 6-3
