Daric Barton (former Peoria-Puebla) started at first base and batted fifth.  3-for-4 with one double, two home runs, two RBIs (one w/two-outs), three runs, and one intentional walk.

Puebla beat Mexico 6-5

Jose Martinez (former Springfield-Veracruz) 0-for-3 with one walk, one strikeout, and assisted in one double play.

Eliezer Alfonzo (former Peoria-Saltillo) started at first base and batted third.  2-for-4 with one double, two two-out RBIs, and one strikeout.

Francisco Rivera (former Palm Beach-Campeche) started as designated hitter and batted eighth.  1-for-2 with one double.

Monterrey beat Campeche 4-2

Niko Vasquez (former Springfield-Laguna) entered late in the game at shortstop.

Quintana Roo beat Laguna 6-5

Eugenio Velez (former Memphis-Monclova) started in left field and batted leadoff.  0-for-3 with one sacrifice and one strikeout.
