Niko Vasquez (former Springfield-Laguna) started at shortstop and batted fifth.  1-for-2 with one double and one run.

Puebla beat Laguna 5-2 in five innings

Eugenio Velez (former Memphis-Monclova) started in left field and batted leadoff.  1-for-5 with one home run, three RBIs, one run, and one walk.

Monclova beat Oaxaca 9-7

Ivan Bellazetin (former MiLB tryout-Tabasco) started at second base and batted eighth.  0-for-3 and assisted in one double play.

Tabasco beat Reynosa 3-0

Luis Garcia (former New Haven-Yucatan) started as designated hitter and batted fifth.  2-for-4 with two home runs, three two-out RBIs, two runs, and one strikeout.
