After completing another winning road trip (5-3), which included a sweep of the Chicago Cubs, the Cardinals return to Busch Stadium for a nine game homestand. The homestand starts with a two game series versus the defending World Series Champion Kansas City Royals (June 29-30), continues with three games against the Milwaukee Brewers (July 1-3) and concludes with four games versus the Pittsburgh Pirates (July 4-7). The last homestand before the All-Star Break is highlighted by Independence Day, a 1926 World Series Championship Ring giveaway and John Goodman Night.
