Lafayette High and Missouri State product Ryan Howard probably is making his last regular-season appearance here for the Phillies, cause for celebration for Cardinals pitchers and fans. The 36-year-old first baseman, on the last year of his contract with the Phils, is hitting .195 overall, but, for his career, he has batted .343 at Busch III with 11 homers and 39 runs batted in over 34 games. His on-base percentage here is .468 and his OPS is a staggering 1.111.
