Redbirds Reverb 5-3-16: Cardinals Drop Bombs On A Good Pitching Staff

Overview: the Cardinals stirred from a hitting funk to slam five homers and score 10 or more runs in a game for the seventh time this season. And this time the fireworks were launched against a top-15 pitching staff, with two homers coming off Phillies starter Jeremy Hellickson. The win disposed of a four-game losing streak and leveled the Cards’ record at 13-13. The Cardinals are 2-8 against teams with a winning record.
