Former Cardinals Playing In The Mexican League 5-4-16: Daric Barton Singles, Walks Three Times, & Drives In One Run; Ivan Bellazetin Singles Twice, Doubles Twice, & Scores Twice; Richy Pedroza Collects Three Singles



Ivan Bellazetin (former MiLB tryout-Tabasco) started at second base and batted eighth.  4-for-5 with two doubles and two runs.

Daric Barton (former Peoria-Puebla) started at first base and batted fifth.  1-for-3 with one two-out RBI, three walks (one intentional), and assisted in one double play.

Puebla beat Tabasco 8-7 in 11 innings

Eliezer Alfonzo (former Peoria-Mexico) started at catcher and batted sixth.  2-for-4 with one run and allowed two stolen bases.

Saltillo beat Mexico 7-5

Richy Pedroza (former Peoria-Aguascalientes) started as shortstop and batted leadoff.  3-for-5 with one run.

Tijuana beat Aguascalientes 9-8

Niko Vasquez (former Springfield-Laguna) started at shortstop and batted third.  1-for-1 with one run, two walks, one hit by pitch, and one fielding error.

Laguna beat Reynosa 4-1

Luis Garcia (former New Haven-Yucatan) started as designated hitter and batted fourth.  1-for-4 with two strikeouts.

Francisco Rivera (former Palm Beach-Campeche) started at first base and batted seventh.  1-for-2 with one double, one strikeout, and was picked off.

Yucatan beat Campeche 3-0

Iker Franco (former Springfield-Quintana Roo) started at catcher and batted seventh.  1-for-4 with one strikeout.

Quintana Roo beat Carmen 5-2
