Former Cardinals Playing In The Mexican League 5-29-16: Richy Pedroza Singles, Doubles, & Drives In One Run; Eliezer Alfonzo, Ivan Bellazetin, Iker Franco, & Francisco Rivera Each Singles & Knock In One Run

Richy Pedroza (former Peoria-Aguascalientes) started at shortstop and batted leadoff.  2-for-4 with one double, one two-out RBI, one stolen base, and two strikeouts.

Aguascalientes beat Monclova 9-4

Eliezer Alfonzo (former Peoria-Mexico) started at first base and batted fifth.  1-for-4 with one RBI, one strikeout, and assisted in one double play.

Mexico beat Reynosa 3-0

Ivan Bellazetin (former MiLB tryout-Tabasco) started at second base and batted ninth.  1-for-2 with one RBI and one walk.

Iker Franco (former Springfield-Quintana Roo) started at catcher and batted eighth.  1-for-2 with one RBI, one strikeout, and allowed one stolen base.

Quintana Roo beat Tabasco 4-2

Jose Martinez (former Springfield-Veracruz) started at third base and batted third.  1-for-5 with one RBI.

Luis Garcia (former New Haven-Yucatan) started as designated hitter and batted fifth.  1-for-1 with one run and two walks.

Yucatan beat Veracruz 9-4

Daric Barton (former Peoria-Puebla) started as designated hitter and batted fourth.  0-for-4 with one walk and three strikeouts.

Francisco Rivera (former Palm Beach-Campeche) entered late in the game as a pinch hitter and batted second.  1-for-1 with one RBI.

Campeche beat Puebla 4-3 in 10 innings
