Eliezer Alfonzo (former Peoria-Mexico) started at first base and batted fourth.  2-for-3 with two runs and one walk.

Mexico beat Saltillo 7-1

Niko Vasquez (former Springfield-Laguna) started at shortstop and batted second.  2-for-5 with one double, one run, and one fielding error.

Laguna beat Monterrey 8-2

Daric Barton (former Peoria-Puebla) started at first base and batted fifth.  0-for-4 with one walk, three strikeouts, and assisted in one double play.

Puebla beat Veracruz 5-3

Ivan Bellazetin (former MiLB tryout-Tabasco) started at second base and batted ninth.  1-for-2 at the plate.

Tabasco beat Oaxaca 3-2 in 14 innings

Iker Franco (former Springfield-Quintana Roo) started at catcher and batted seventh.  1-for-2 with one ground into double play.

Luis Garcia (former New Haven-Yucatan) started as designated hitter and batted sixth.  2-for-3 with one home run, four RBIs (three w/two-outs), two runs, two walks, and one strikeout.

Yucatan beat Quintana Roo 13-8

Richy Pedroza (former Peoria-Aguascalientes) started at second base and batted leadoff.  2-for-4 with one two-out RBI, one intentional walk, one caught stealing, and assisted in three double plays.

Tijuana beat Aguascalientes 5-4
