Former Cardinals Playing In The Mexican League 5-1-16: Richy Pedroza, Iker Franco, & Luis Garcia Each Single & Drive In One Run; Daric Barton Doubles; Niko Vasquez Walks Twice



Niko Vasquez (former Springfield-Laguna) started at shortstop and batted third.  0-for-2 with two walks, two strikeouts, and one fielding error.

Laguna beat Mexico 5-3 in 10 innings

Richy Pedroza (former Peoria-Aguascalientes) started at shortstop and batted leadoff.  1-for-5 with one RBI, one run, and one strikeout.

Monterrey beat Aguascalientes 9-8

Iker Franco (former Springfield-Quintana Roo) started at catcher and batted seventh.  1-for-4 with one RBI and one strikeout.

Quintana Roo beat Oaxaca 7-1

Ivan Bellazetin (former MiLB tryout-Tabasco) started at second base and batted eighth.  1-for-3 at the plate.

Campeche beat Tabasco 7-1

Daric Barton (former Peoria-Puebla) started at first base and batted fourth.  1-for-5 with one double, two strikeouts, and grounded into one double play.

Luis Garcia (former New Haven-Yucatan) started as designated hitter and batted sixth.  1-for-3 with one RBI, one run, one hit by pitch, and one stolen base.

Puebla beat Yucatan 5-4
