Former Cardinals Draft Selections Playing In College 5-13-16: A.J. Kruzel Singles Twice, Walks, & Drives In Three Runs In Two Games



Dustin Beggs (former 2014 draft selection-Kentucky) started and pitched 4.1 innings.  He allowed 14 hits, nine earned runs, threw two wild pitches, and struck four out for the losing decision (8-2).  


Justin Bellinger (former 2014 draft selection-Duke) started at first base and batted fourth.  2-for-4 with one run and one strikeout.


Cadyn Grenier (former 2015 draft selection-Oregon St) started at third base and batted ninth.  0-for-2 with two strikeouts and committed one error.


Tristan Hildebrandt (former 2014 draft selection-Cal St Fullerton) entered late in the game at second base.


A.J. Kruzel (former 2013 draft selection-Henderson St) started at shortstop and batted sixth.  1-for-4 with one RBI and one sac fly.
