It was the bottom of the 9th inning, two out, two strikes, and the score tied 3-3 between the St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago Cubs. No, it wasn’t a playoff matchup, but with the storied history and recently renewed competition in the NL Central there was a big game feel to the night. And Randal Grichuk provided a big hit–his first-ever walk off home run.
