In Mike Matheny’s first four seasons as manager, the Cardinals have won exactly two-thirds of their games from the Brewers at 48-24. In that time, the Cardinals are 23-14 against Milwaukee at Busch Stadium and 25-10 at Miller Park. This marks the second year in a row the Brewers have opened the Cardinals’ home season and third time in the 11 years of Busch III.
