Lou Brock To Throw Out First Pitch At Cardinals' Home Opener

Opening Day in St. Louis is a holiday. It must be because no work gets done. There are Clydesdales, often a championship banner to be raised and many times the Milwaukee Brewers as the opponents.

St. Louis Cardinals icon Lou Brock, who had his left leg amputated below the knee six months ago, will throw out the ceremonial first pitch at Monday’s home opener, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
