Former Cardinals Playing In The Mexican League 4-21-16: Iker Franco Singles Three Times & Hits A Solo Home Run; Richy Pedroza Singles & Doubles; Eliezer Alfonzo Singles Twice

Eliezer Alfonzo (former Peoria-Mexico) started at catcher and batted seventh.  2-for-3 with and one strikeout, assisted in one double play, and threw out two of four base runners.

Daric Barton (former Peoria-Puebla) started at first base and batted fourth.  0-for-2 with two runs, one walk, one hit by pitch, one strikeout, and assisted in one double play.

Puebla beat Mexico 11-3

Richy Pedroza (former Peoria-Aguascalientes) started at second base and batted ninth.  2-for-4 with one double and assisted in one double play.

Veracruz beat Aguascalientes 6-4

Eugenio Velez (former Memphis-Quintana Roo) started in left field and batted second.  0-for-5 with one strikeout.
Iker Franco (former Springfield-Quintana Roo) started at catcher and batted eighth.  4-for-4 with one home run, one RBI, and one run.

Monclova beat Quintana Roo 4-3

Niko Vasquez (former Springfield-Laguna) started at shortstop and batted third.  1-for-4 with one double, two strikeouts, and assisted in two double plays.

Yucatan beat Laguna 3-2

Ivan Bellazetin (former MiLB tryout-Tabasco) entered late in the game at third base.

Saltillo beat Tabasco 7-1 in 11 innings
