Former Cardinals Playing In The Mexican League 4-19-16: Eliezer Alfonzo SIngles, Doubles, & Drives In Two Runs; Luis Garcia Singles & Hits A Solo Home Run; Eugenio Velez Hits A Solo Home Run

Eliezer Alfonzo (former Peoria-Mexico) started at catcher and batted eighth.  2-for-5 with one double, four RBIs (two w/two-outs), one run and one strikeout.

Daric Barton (former Peoria-Puebla) started at first base and batted fourth.  2-for-4 with one double, two runs, one strikeout, and assisted in one double play.

Mexico beat Puebla 14-6

Eugenio Velez (former Memphis-Quintana Roo) started in left field and batted second.  1-for-5 with one home run, one two-out RBI, and one run.

Monclova beat Quintana Roo 4-2

Luis Garcia (former New Haven-Yucatan) started as designated hitter and batted seventh.  2-for-6 with one home run, one RBI, two runs, and one strikeout.

Niko Vasquez (former Springfield-Laguna) started at shortstop and batted ninth.  2-for-5 with one double, one two-out RBI, two runs, one stolen base, and one strikeout.

Yucatan beat Laguna 5-3 in 12 innings
