Former Cardinals Playing In The Mexican league 4-17-16: Daric Barton Singles Three Times, Homers, & Drives In Two Runs; Eliezer Alfonzo Collects Two Singles & Two RBIs; Luis Garcia Singles & Knocks In One Run

Eliezer Alfonzo (former Peoria-Mexico) started at catcher and batted eighth.  2-for-2 with two RBIs, one throwing error, and threw out one of two base runners.

Mexico beat Tabasco 7-4

Daric Barton (former Peoria-Puebla) started at first base and batted fifth.  4-for-5 with one home run, two RBIs (one w/two-outs), three runs, and assisted in three double plays.

Richy Pedroza (former Peoria-Aguascalientes) entered late in the game as a pinch hitter and batted ninth.  0-for-1 with one strikeout.

Puebla beat Aguascalientes 10-5

Eugenio Velez (former Memphis-Quintana Roo) started in left field and batted second.  1-for-3 with one run, one stolen base, one strikeout, and one outfield assist.

Quintana Roo beat Monterrey 4-3

Luis Garcia (former New Haven-Yucatan) started as designated hitter and batted seventh.  1-for-4 with one RBI.

Reynosa beat Yucatan 10-7 in 12 innings
