Former Cardinals Playing In The Mexican League 4-14-16: Daric Barton Singles, Homers, & Drives In Two Runs; Luis Garcia Singles & Knocks In One Run; Eugenio Velez Singles Twice

Daric Barton (former Peoria-Puebla) started at first base and batted fifth.  2-for-4 with one home run, two RBIs, one run, one sac fly, and assisted in four double plays.

Puebla beat Oaxaca 6-2

Francisco Rivera (former Palm Beach-Campeche) entered late in the game as a pinch hitter and batted ninth.  0-for-1 at the plate.

Monclova beat Campeche 3-1

Ivan Maldonado (former MiLB tryout-Reynosa) started and pitched 6.1 innings.  He allowed ten hits, five runs (four earned), two walks, threw one wild pitch, and struck four out for the losing decision (1-1).  (p-s:98-60)(g/f:6-2)

Eugenio Velez (former Memphis-Quintana Roo) started in left field and batted second.  2-for-4 with one run and one caught stealing.

Quintana Roo beat Reynosa 5-0

Luis Garcia (former New Haven-Yucatan) started as designated hitter and batted seventh.  1-for-4 with one RBI and one strikeout.

Yucatan beat Monterrey 7-4
