Former Cardinals Playing In The Mexican League 4-10-16: Luis Garcia Singles, Doubles, & Drives In Two Runs; Daric Barton Doubles & Knocks In Two Runs; Niko Vasquez Hits A Solo Home Run

Luis Garcia (former New Haven-Yucatan) started as designated hitter and batted sixth.  2-for-5 with one double, two RBIs, two runs, and grounded into one double play.

Daric Barton (former Peoria-Puebla) started at first base and batted fifth.  1-for-5 with one double, two two-out RBIs, one strikeout, and assisted in two double plays.

Puebla beat Yucatan 10-7

Niko Vasquez (former Springfield-Laguna) started at shortstop and batted sixth.  1-for-4 with one home run, one two-out RBI, one run, one strikeout, and assisted in one double play.

Laguna beat Tijuana 6-5

Eugenio Velez (former Memphis-Quintana Roo) started in left field and batted leadoff.  2-for-4 with one double, one triple, two runs, and one walk.

Quintana Roo beat Oaxaca 8-2

Richy Pedroza (former Peoria-Aguascalientes) entered late in the game at second base.

Aguascalientes beat Reynosa 1-0
