Dustin Beggs (former 2014 draft selection-Kentucky) started and pitched seven innings.  He allowed five hits, two earned runs, one walk, and struck one out for the losing decision.

Justin Bellinger (former 2014 draft selection-Duke) started at first base and batted fourth.  1-for-4 with one home run, two RBIs, one run, and one strikeout.

Virginia Tech beat Duke 3-2 in game one of doubleheader

Justin Bellinger (former 2014 draft selection-Duke) started at first base and batted fourth.  3-for-3 with two doubles, three RBIs, four runs, one walk, one sac fly, and one hit by pitch.
