Former Cardinals Playing In The Mexican League 4-20-16: Daric Barton Walks Four Times & Hits A Solo Home Run; Francisco Rivera Singles & Doubles; Eliezer Alfonzo Singles

Eliezer Alfonzo (former Peoria-Mexico) started as catcher and batted eighth.  1-for-5  with one strikeout, grounded into one double play, one throwing error, and allowed two stolen bases.

Daric Barton (former Peoria-Puebla) started at first be and batted fourth.  1-for-1 with one home run, one RBI, one run, four walks, and assisted in to double plays.

Mexico beat Puebla 9-7

Francisco Rivera (former Palm Beach-Campeche) started as designated hitter and batted sixth.  2-for-4 with one double, one run, and two strikeouts.

Campeche beat Monterrey 6-5 in 10 innings

Ivan Maldonado (former MiLB tryout-Reynosa) started and pitched 2.2 innings.  He allowed five hits, one earned run, two walks, and struck two out.  (p-s:64-43)(g/f:0-3)

Reynosa beat Cuidad de Carmen 8-7

Eugenio Velez (former Memphis-Quintana Roo) started in left field and batted second.  0-for-3 with one run and one walk.
Iker Franco (former Springfield-Quintana Roo) started at catcher and batted eighth.  0-for-3 with one strikeout and grounded into two double plays.

Monclova beat Quintana Roo 4-2

Niko Vasquez (former Springfield-Laguna) started at shortstop and batted eighth.  0-for-3 at the plate.

Yucatan beat Laguna 1-0

Ivan Bellazetin (former MiLB tryout-Tabasco) started at third base and batted ninth.  0-for-3 at the plate.

Tabasco beat Saltillo 2-1 in 10 innings
