Signs are pointing to lefthander Marco Gonzales, who is on the Class AAA Memphis roster, having surgery on his ailing left elbow. Gonzales already has had a couple of medical opinions and Matheny said, “I’ve heard there’s a chance he’s going to continue to have that looked at. There’s always a chance, too, of having surgery.”
