With the San Diego Padres emphasis in adding left-handed pitching, (as they’ve added some depth there) and the scarcity on the market, there are simply limited options of the starting variety. That said, A.J. Preller has shown interest in adding Tim Lincecum, and I wonder what other free agent pitchers he’s had dialog with.
