Kolten Wong Agrees To Five-Year Extension With Cardinals

The Cardinals and second baseman Kolten Wong have agreed to a five-year contract extension with a club option for a sixth year, which covers all three years of upcoming arbitration eligibility as well as at least one year of free agency. Wong, who debuted with the Cardinals in 2013, was slated to become arbitration-eligible after this season.
