Former Cardinals Draft Selections Playing In College 3-31-16: Anthony Herron Strikes Out 16 & Allows One Run Over Seven & Two-Thirds Innings For The Win; Matt Vierling Singles,Walks, & Drives In One Run



Anthony Herron (former 2014 draft selection-Jefferson) started and pitched 7.2 innings.  He allowed five hits, one earned run, one home run, one walk, and stuck 16 out for the win (4-1).

Jefferson beat Three Rivers 9-1 in game two of doubleheader

Parker Kelly (former 2015 draft selection-Oregon) entered in the sixth and pitched 2.1 innings. He allowed one hit, one unearned run, three walks, and threw three wild pitches.  (p-s:41-20)(g/f:6-1)

Matt Vierling (former 2015 draft selection-Notre Dame) started in right field and batted fourth.  1-for-4 with one RBI and one walk.

Notre Dame beat Oregon 6-3

Dom Thompson-Williams (former 2014 draft selection-South Carolina) started in left field and batted fifth.  0-for-4 with one strikeout.

Vanderbilt beat South Carolina 6-3
