Former Cardinals Draft Selections Playing In College 3-24-16: Josh Rolette Hit A Solo Home Run; Dom Thompson-Williams Singles, Walks, & Drives In One Run; Matt Vierling Singles Twice



Gio Brusa (former 2015 draft selection-Pacific) started as designated hitter and batted fourth.  1-for-4 with one run and one caught stealing.

Cadyn Grenier (former 2015 draft selection-Oregon St) started at third base and batted ninth.  0-for-3 at the plate.

California beat Oregon St 6-2

Tristan Hildebrandt (former 2014 draft selection-Cal St Fullerton) started at second base and batted ninth.  0-for-5 with one strikeout.

Long Beach St beat Cal St Fullerton 5-4 in 12 innings

Ryan Merrill (former 2015 draft selection-Texas Christian) started at shortstop and batted seventh.  0-for-4 and committed one error.

Texas beat Texas Christian 4-3

Josh Rolette (former 2015 draft selection-Kansas St) started as designated hitter and batted third.  1-for-4 with one home run, one RBI, one run, and two strikeouts.
