Carlos Beltran had to suppress a laugh at a question about his right knee. Someone (me) was naive enough to ask if it hurt and whether running was uncomfortable. Beltran paused for a moment, perhaps trying to recall the last time his knee wasn’t a problem, before finally describing what life is like with diminishing cartilage.
