A recent photo of Red Sox outfielder Mookie Betts' golf cart parked at the bottom of a pond was perfect. Years from now, when yet another spring training rolls around, one baseball-starved fan in Beantown will ask another: 'Remember Mookie's water hazard?' They will chuckle and shake their heads, recalling one of the many times spring training broke strange.
