Cardinals closer Trevor Rosenthal not only set the Cardinals' single-season saves record at 48 last season, he also became the first Cardinals closer to have 40 or more saves in consecutive seasons since Lee Smith had a three-bagger more than 20 years ago. And, at only age 25, Rosenthal, who will be beginning his third full campaign as the ninth-inning man, admits, "You always want to beat your own record. That would be a cool thing to do."
