I have no idea if the Cardinals’ offense will ignite more frequently in 2016. We’ve discussed this often during the offseason, and nothing has really changed. The challenge remains the same for a team that over the past two seasons ranked 24th in the majors in runs (3.91 per game), 24th in slugging percentage (.382), 25th in extra-base hits, 25th in isolated power (.129) and 27th in homers.
