In Monday’s piece, I discussed the Chicago Cubs’ youth and their imposing row of power hitters. With six of the eight position players in their projected starting lineup age 26 or younger, and with all cost controlled for several seasons (at least), the Cubs appear set for the future. Especially if they can acquire another starter to augment the rotation.
