GM John Mozeliak has said multiple times this offseason he doesn’t see a major offensive upgrade happening in the midst of Jason Heyward choosing Chicago blue over St. Louis red. Barring something unforeseen – like landing one of the Rockies available outfielders – I actually tend to believe him.
