The NL Manager of the Year voting came down to a choice between the Mike Matheny (St. Louis), Joe Maddon (Chicago) and Terry Collins (New York.) And really, if you try to be objective here, there wasn’t a wrong choice. The criteria for winning this award tends to be gelatinous, with no firm standard to guide the voters.
