Yoenis Cespedes started off the 2015 season playing for the Detroit Tigers. As the trade deadline neared, the Tigers felt that they were not going to be able to contend for an American League Central title or a Wild Card birth. Before the trade deadline passed, Joakim Soria, David Price, and Yoenis Cespedes were all traded. Cespedes found himself playing for the New York Mets.
