Welcome Brayan Pena. So long Tony Cruz. At last, the St. Louis Cardinals have a backup catcher that is worthy of holding Yadier Molina's helmet. Pena doesn't blast the cover off the baseball but he is a decent switch hitter who won't embarrass the Cards behind the plate. His deal is for 2 years and $5 million.
