In the final stretch of his playing career, lefty Randy Flores spent the summer of 2011 hitchhiking from organization to organization looking for that one ride to the big leagues. He signed with three different teams in six months, landing eventually with the playoff-bound Milwaukee Brewers. They released him on the eve of September’s expanded roster.
