Major League Baseball and Chevrolet on Monday announced the names of the 30 club nominees for the Roberto Clemente Award presented by Chevrolet. Fan voting will begin Wednesday, on Roberto Clemente Day, to help decide who succeeds Jimmy Rollins and Paul Konerko as overall winner of the prestigious community honor handed out annually at the World Series.

St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Adam Wainwright won’t have the chance to take home the Cy Young Award this season, but he has the chance to earn another valuable honor–the Roberto Clemente Award.
