When you think Gulf Coast League, you don't normally think about the playoffs. Heck, you don't even think wins and losses, necessarily. The GCL, along with its complex-level equivalent in Arizona, is known for developing young talent, specifically recent Draft picks and young international players who are playing in the United States for the first time. Get your experience, stay healthy, move up the chain is basically the circuit's motto. But that doesn't mean the GCL playoffs should be dismissed entirely.
