Former Cardinals Playing In The Mexican League 8-5-15: Eugenio Velez Singles, Doubles, & Drives In Three Runs; Ronny Cedeno Singles Twice, Doubles, & Knocks In Two Runs; Luis Garcia Walks & Hits A Solo Home Run

Luis Garcia (former New Haven-Yucatan) started as designated hitter and batted sixth.  1-for-3 with one home run, one two-out RBI, one run, one walk, one strikeout, and grounded into one double play.

Ronny Cedeno (former MLB signing-Oaxaca) started at shortstop and batted seventh.  3-for-3 with one double, two RBIs (one w/two-outs), one sac fly, two runs, and one throwing error.

Yucatan beat Oaxaca 11-4

Eugenio Velez (former Memphis-Quintana Roo) started at second base and moved to left field, batting third.  2-for-5 with one double, three RBIs (two w/two-outs), one run, one sacrifice, one stolen base, one strikeout, and assisted in two double plays.
Iker Franco (former Springfield-Quintana Roo) started at catcher and batted eighth.  0-for-2 at the plate.

Puebla beat Quintana Roo 11-10 in 10 innings

Hugo Castellanos (former Memphis-Tijuana) entered in the sixth and pitched one inning.  He allowed no hits or runs.  (p-s:7-5)(g/f:2-1)
Dennys Reyes (former St. Louis-Tijuana) entered in the ninth and pitched one inning.  He allowed one hit and no runs for the winning decision (4-2).  (p-s:8-6)(g/f:2-0)

Tijuana beat Monterrey 11-5 in 10 innings

Ivan Maldonado (former MiLB tryout-Reynosa) entered in the ninth and pitched one inning.  He allowed no hits or runs, and struck two out for the save (3).  (p-s:13-9)

Reynosa beat Mexico 3-0

Juan Pena (former Tennessee-Monclova) started and pitched 6.1 innings.  He allowed five hits, one earned run, and struck two out for the winning decision (11-5).  (p-s:88-54)(g/f:7-6)

Monclova beat Saltillo 5-1

Ivan Bellazetin (former MiLB tryout-Tabasco) started at shortstop and batted second.  0-for-3 with one strikeout and one throwing error.

Campeche beat Tabasco 6-4
