.300 Hitters Becoming Scarce In Majors; Clint Hurdle Admires Cardinals; Tyler Lyons Waits His Turn; Trevor Rosenthal On The Rise

The day of the .300 hitter continues to dwindle. As National League teams began play on Wednesday, only 12 NL hitters who had enough at-bats to qualify were batting .300 or more, and the 12th, Troy Tulowitzki, isn’t playing in the league anymore.
