MLB Does Not Expect Swift Completion Of Hacking Investigation; Trevor Rosenthal Rests; Matt Holliday Eyes Friday; Boos Greet Cardinals; Franchise Four Named

Major League Baseball does not intend to conduct its own inquiry into the allegations that at least one member of the Cardinals’ front office illegally hacked Houston’s database until the federal investigation has completed. And MLB’s commissioner doesn’t expect that to be resolved swiftly.

Cardinals left fielder Matt Holliday intends to increase the intensity of his running during the next two days so that he can return to the lineup Friday after more than a month on the disabled list because of a torn quadriceps muscle.
