Former Cardinals Playing In The Mexican League 7-9-15: Luis Garcia Singles, Walks, & Drives In One Run; Ivan Maldonado Strikes Out Two Of Three Batters Faced For The Hold

Ivan Maldonado (former MiLB tryout-Reynosa) entered in the eighth and pitched one inning.  He allowed no hits or runs, and struck two out for the hold (6).  (p-s:13-9)(g/f:1-0)

Reynosa beat Mexico 7-3

Iker Franco (former Springfield-Quintana Roo) entered late in the game at first base and batted sixth.  0-for-1 at the plate.

Veracruz beat Quintana Roo 7-3

Ivan Bellazetin (former MiLB tryout-Tabasco) entered late in the game at shortstop and batted ninth.  0-for-1 and assisted in one double play.

Luis Garcia (former New Haven-Yucatan) started as designated hitter and batted sixth.  1-for-4 with one RBI, one run, one walk, and one strikeout.

Yucatan beat Tabasco 13-0
