Former Cardinals Playing In The Mexican League 7-18-15: Luis Garcia Doubles, Walks, & Drives In One Run; Eugenio Velez Collects Two Singles; Juan Pena Allows Two Runs Over Five Innings

Luis Garcia (former New Haven-Yucatan) started as designated hitter and batted sixth.  1-for-3 with one double, one RBI, one walk, and one strikeout.

Yucatan beat Monterrey 11-0

Juan Pena (former Tennessee-Monclova) started and pitched five innings.  He allowed six hits, two earned runs, and two walks.  (p-s:88-53)(g/f:8-4)

Monclova beat Cuidad de Carmen 9-4 in 10 innings

Ivan Maldonado (former MiLB tryout-Reynosa) entered in the eighth and pitched to five batters.  He allowed three hits, four unearned runs, and committed one throwing error for the hold (8) and losing decision (4-4).  (p-s:17-11)(g/f:1-0)

Eugenio Velez (former Memphis-Quintana Roo) started in left field and moved to second base, batting third.  2-for-5 with one run and one stolen base.
Iker Franco (former Springfield-Quintana Roo) entered late in the game at catcher.

Quintana Roo beat Reynosa 8-4

Evan MacLane (former St. Louis-Campeche) started and pitched four innings.  He allowed eight hits, five runs (four earned), two home runs, one walk, and committed one throwing error.  (p-s:63-45)(g/f:6-4)

Laguna beat Campeche 8-5
