Former Cardinals Playing In The Mexican League 7-22-15: Ronny Cedeno Hits A Two-Run Homer; Ivan Maldonado Strikes Out One Over One Scoreless Inning For The Save; Eugenio Velez Collects Three Singles

Ronny Cedeno (former MLB signing-Oaxaca) started at shortstop and batted seventh.  1-for-4 with one home run, two RBIs, two runs, one fielding error, and assisted in one double play.

Mexico beat Oaxaca 11-7

Ivan Maldonado (former MiLB tryout-Reynosa) entered in the ninth and pitched one inning.  He allowed one hit, no runs, and struck one out for the save (1).  (p-s:14-11)(g/f:0-1)

Reynosa beat Campeche 3-0

Eugenio Velez (former Memphis-Quintana Roo) started in left field and batted third.  3-for-5 with one run and was picked off.

Quintana Roo beat Monclova 6-4

Luis Garcia (former New Haven-Yucatan) started as designated hitter and batted sixth.  1-for-4 with one run.
Adam Reifer (former Memphis-Yucatan) entered in the eighth and pitched two innings.  He allowed three hits, one earned run, and struck three out.  (p-s:28-24)(g/f:2-1)

Laguna beat Yucatan 8-7 in 12 innings

Ivan Bellazetin (former MiLB tryout-Tabasco) started at shortstop and batted ninth.  1-for-2 with one stolen base and assisted in one double play.

Saltillo beat Tabasco 4-1
