Former Cardinals Playing In The Mexican League 7-16-15: Adam Reifer Strikes Out One Over One Hitless/Scoreless Inning For The Save; Iker Franco Singles; Eugenio Velez Walks

Ivan Bellazetin (former MiLB tryout-Tabasco) started at shortstop and batted ninth.  0-for-2 with one ground into double play and assisted in one double play.

Mexico beat Tabasco 11-4

Eugenio Velez (former Memphis-Quintana Roo) started in left field and batted third.  0-for-3 with one walk and two stolen bases.
Iker Franco (former Springfield-Quintana Roo) started at catcher and batted eighth.  1-for-3 with one run, one strikeout, threw out one base runner, and assisted in one double play.

Quintana Roo beat Monterrey 6-2

Ivan Maldonado (former MiLB tryout-Reynosa) entered in the eighth and pitched one inning.  He allowed two hits, two earned runs, and hit one batter for the blown save (1) and losin decision (4-3).  (p-s:17-15)(g/f:1-1)

Luis Garcia (former New Haven-Yucatan) started as designated hitter and batted sixth.  0-for-3 with two strikeouts.
Adam Reifer (former Memphis-Yucatan) entered in the ninth and pitched one inning.  He allowed no hits or runs, and struck one out for the save (17).  (p-s:9-6)
