Former Cardinals Playing In The Mexican League 6-12-15: Luis Garcia Hits A Three-Run Homer & Grand Slam; Ivan Bellazetin Singles, Doubles, & Drives In One Run; Iker Franco Walks Twice

Ivan Maldonado (former MiLB tryout-Reynosa) entered in the eighth and pitched one inning.  He allowed two hits and one earned run for the hold (1).  (p-s:9-7)(g/f:2-0)

Reynosa beat Puebla 4-2

Ivan Bellazetin (former MiLB tryout-Tabasco) started at shortstop and batted second.  2-for-4 with one double, one RBI, one sacrifice, and assisted in one double play.

Tabasco beat Laguna 5-4

Iker Franco (former Springfield-Quintana Roo) started at catcher ad moved to first base, batting fifth.  0-for-3 with one run, two walks, and grounded into one double play.

Quintana Roo beat Tijuana 12-5

Luis Garcia (former New Haven-Yucatan) started as designated hitter and batted fourth.  2-for-4 with two home runs, seven RBIs, two runs, and one walk.

Yucatan beat Mexico 13-8
